Mr. Abdon Bayla, Senior Education Program Specialist of DepEd Olongapo, organized a Coordination Meeting with the representative of each private and public schools of Olongapo City to share the ICC events which the students may participate in. In line with engaging more people, they are spearheading the Enviro Songwriting Contest & Noah’s Art : Trash to Art Making Contest. This is a way to raise awareness to the young generation and continue inspiring their love for nature.
The Department of Education is mandated to provide quality, complete basic education that is equitably accessible to all and lay the foundation for lifelong learning and service for the common good. As of June 2015, the Division has 87 public and private pre-elementary, secondary and integrated schools to cater educational services.
