The Vice Governor’s Office of Zambales together with The Lighthouse Marina Resort Legacy Foundation (LMRLF) presented certificates of recognition to the Zambales Working Group for their dedication in making positive changes as well as their untiring support for the International Coastal Cleanup 2015 last October 30, 2015 at People’s Park, Iba Zambales. These were awarded by Governor Hermogenes Edejer Ebdane Jr., Vice Gov. and Zambales Zone Captain Ramon Lacbain, with LMRLRF Project Manager, Ms. Jozen Curva, and representatives from the Zambales Department of Education.
The top three towns with the Biggest Delegation were awarded with special citations and cash prizes, sponsored by Landbank Iba, Zambales. Botolan came in first with with 8,844 volunteers, in second place is Subic with 5,592 volunteers & San Marcelino with 4,724 Volunteers. One of the highlights included the Photo Exhibit Contest which had entries from 10 different organizations/towns. It featured all the moments captured during the International Coastal Cleanup last September 19, 2015.
