International Coastal Cleanup Olongapo: Making Riverth Possible Recognition Day (October 5, 2015)5/10/2015 LMRLF representatives were invited to Olongapo City Government’s flag raising ceremony at the Rizal Triangle for the International Coastal Cleanup Olongapo: Making Riverth Possible Recognition Day.
The program started with an inspiring speech of how active and supportive the Olonapeños are with protecting the environment by the Honorable Mayor Rolen Paulino. With hundreds of employees & students witnessing the recognition, ICC Philippines had the privilege to acknowledge the volunteers and site captains of Olongapo City (including all 17 barangays and other locations that amounted to 29 cleanup sites) who have committedly given their best to make the International Coastal Cleanup a huge success. Mayor Rolen Paulino and Mr. Anthony Bayarong handed Mr. Zedrik Avecilla, the ICC Zambales Area Coordinator and Director of The Lighthouse Marina Resort Legacy Foundation and Ms. Jozen Curva, the Project Manager, their Certificate of Appreciation to The Lighthouse Marina Resort for their steadfast support and contribution they have shown to help the International Coastal Cleanup: Making Riverth Possible achieve a record breaking success.
